Product analytics without surveillance.
Tryhard measures whether the competition works. It does not build an advertising profile or retain the contents of your agent prompts.
Anonymous traffic
A random identifier stored only in your current browser tab counts sessions and page views. Tryhard stores the page path without query parameters, the selected challenge, and the referring hostname when one exists. Closing the tab ends that anonymous browser session.
Account and competition events
Successful account creation, machine provisioning, clock start, submission, scoring, Checkout start, payment, and refund events are recorded by the server. Signed-in events use the internal Tryhard account identifier needed to measure the product funnel.
What analytics excludes
The analytics table does not store IP addresses, user agents, account email addresses, OAuth or Codex credentials, prompt text, source code, payment-card details, or URL query strings.
Optional public spectator mode
Before starting the clock, a competitor may explicitly opt in to a public Tryhard TV slot. The live feed contains only the public handle, challenge, server-owned timer, and run state. A completed opted-in run may later appear as a replay using its already-public score, aggregate check count, timing, and evidence-hash prefix. Terminal text, prompt text, source code, diffs, private test detail, and Codex authorization are never copied into the spectator feed.
